Member Services
We regularly assist BoatUS, GEICO policyholders and non-members with non-emergency marine services, reaching up to 50 nautical miles offshore when weather and sea conditions allow. Saltwater Towing Members receive covered services at no cost and are given priority response. Services for non-members are available for a fee. Requests for vessel recovery beyond 50 nautical miles are evaluated individually and may involve additional planning to ensure a safe and successful operation.
Member Towing
Enjoying a fun day on the water in Venice or Englewood when your boat suddenly won’t start? Whether you’re headed to a local sandbar, your favorite fishing spot, or a waterfront restaurant along the Gulf Coast, just give us a call. We provide towing assistance throughout the Venice and Englewood area, up to 50 nautical miles from our location, weather and conditions permitting, at no cost for Saltwater Towing Members. Whether you need a tow back to the boat ramp you launched from, your home dock, or a trusted local repair facility, we’ll get you where you need to go safely.
Jump Starts and Fuel Delivery
Spending a little too much time enjoying the music with the engine off, or noticing your fuel gauge isn’t reading correctly while out on the water? Jump starts and fuel or oil delivery are included with your Saltwater Towing membership—you only pay for the fuel or oil itself. The service call is fully covered, and if the problem isn’t resolved, your membership also covers towing back to a safe dock, boat ramp, or repair facility in the area.
Soft Ungroundings
Getting stuck on a shallow sandbar or soft bottom happens to even the most experienced boaters. With a Saltwater Towing membership, soft ungroundings are covered, giving you peace of mind while enjoying the waters around the Venice and Englewood area. Our team will help free your vessel safely and efficiently, so you can get back to your day on the water without worrying about unexpected delays or damage.
Dock to Dock Towing
With a Saltwater Towing membership, dock-to-dock tows are fully covered after the 30-day enrollment waiting period. Members can enjoy peace of mind knowing that if a breakdown occurs at their home dock, towing to a repair facility or a local marina is included. Members receive dock-to-dock towing coverage for distances up to 25 nautical miles at no extra charge, making it easy to get where you need to go safely and efficiently while boating in the Venice and Englewood area.
